Our Community Relations Manager Nicole Stein was fortunate enough to attend the inaugural Curtin University Kalgoorlie Sustainability Forum where she heard from industry leaders from all over the world on decarbonisation, engaging with First Nations People, community engagement, climate change, sustainability and vehicle electrification.

With our Manna Lithium Project so close to Kalgoorlie, it was an inspiring introduction to the Curtin Kalgoorlie community and an amazing opportunity to participate in meaningful thought-provoking discussions about climate change, decarbonisation, electrification of mining and community social issues.

Sabina Shugg AM and Curtin put on a great day bringing together industry experts and senior leaders from across the globe – both virtually and in person, sharing their latest thinking and projects. This was an inspiring day for all in attendance looking to change the face of how we mine, both now and into the future.
