Meet Phoebe Yan, Markets & Growth Manager at Global Lithium Resources.

Phoebe has more than 15 years’ commercial experience in the lithium chemicals, mining and infrastructure sectors with a strong track record in project development, sales and marketing and business development. Prior to joining Global Lithium, Phoebe worked in various roles at Tianqi Lithium, Top Iron, THTF Australia Mining, and Mineral Resources, and maintains an in-depth understanding of and a strong passion for the battery minerals sectors.

Phoebe enjoys the challenge of analysing data and market trends to help companies make informed decisions about strategic direction, and finds it rewarding to work in an industry that is focused on sustainable energy and technology.

As a Senior Business Analyst, Phoebe assists in a number of functions including market analysis, sales and marketing, investor relations and stakeholder engagement, and corporate development. She conducts in-depth market analysis to identify demand and supply drivers, develop price forecasts, and assess risk outlooks; she also prospectively evaluates and supports new customers and partners, participating in negotiations for potential strategic sales arrangements and developing sales strategies. She also contributes to pricing negotiations, pricing methodology development, and customer liaison to ensure a seamless supply of product samples to a global customer base.

Phoebe thrives in the dynamic and challenging nature of her role, embracing the opportunity to wear multiple hats and be involved across various aspects of the business.

Beyond her work at Global Lithium Resources, Phoebe leads an active lifestyle. She enjoys hiking and bushwalking, immersing herself in nature and staying physically fit. She also enjoys working with her local community, volunteering at children’s basketball and tennis clubs in her spare time.
